SONG OF THE DAY: Happy 56th Birthday to legendary guitarist, EDDIE VAN HALEN.. "Dance the Night Away" was the band, VAN HALEN (led by DAVID LEE ROTH)'s first U.S. single release from their second album "VAN HALEN II" which reached the U.S. Top 40..
The song was inspired by FLEETWOOD MAC's "Go Your Own Way", which the band hummed in the studio while recording the album.. DAVID LEE ROTH originally wanted to call this song "Dance Lolita Dance"..
