RETRO SONG OF THE DAY: Today in 1958, the late-70's Teen Heart-throb, ANDY GIBB was born. Though often overshadowed by his more famous brothers, Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb of "BEE GEES" fame, he had his moment in the sun with 2 huge hits in the late 70's, "Shadow Dancing" and "I Just Want to Be Your Everything".. "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" went on to be the #1 single of 1977, and came from an album that featured the EAGLES' Joe Walsh on guitar on a couple of tracks. Though GIBB is no longer with us, the legacy of his teen idol days and his hit "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" remains with "American Idol" contestants performing the song on their way towards their shot at stardom.
